2135076 - Unable to Perform a Complete Transfer of Individual Material due to Account Determination Missing

While you are trying to execute a Complete Transfer Of Individual Material for a Fixed Asset, the system shows the following error message:

Account determination is missing for item type Historical Cost Fixed Assets. Specify account determination in chart of accounts XXX and account determination profile YYY. Column Path Fixed Assets->Historical Cost->Historical Cost, Item Type Historical Cost Fixed Assets.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Fixed Assets Work Center.
2. Go to Fixed Assets View.
3. Search for the respective Asset ID.
4. Highlight it and click Manual Posting > Complete Transfer of Individual Material.
5. Fill out the fields according to your need.
6. Click Post or Simulate button.
7. The System issues the following error message:

Account determination is missing for item type Historical Cost Fixed Assets. Specify account determination in chart of accounts XXX and account determination profile YYY. Column Path Fixed Assets->Historical Cost->Historical Cost, Item Type Historical Cost Fixed Assets.

The fixed Asset for which you are trying to perform the Complete Transfer of Individual Material uses an Account Determination Group which does not have the Historical Cost maintained in the Account Determination.

In order to resolve the issue, you must maintain a Historical Cost for this Account Determination group. This process can be done by executing the following steps:

1. Go to Business Configuration Work Center.
2. Go to Overview View.
3. Search and open the activity Charts of Accounts, Financial Reporting Structures, Account Determination.
4. Click Fixed Assets under Account Determination.
5. Go to the Historical Cost tab.
6. Click Add Row button.
7. Maintain a Historical Cost account for your Account Determination Group.
