2135667 - How to change END Date in Succession Planning

Symptom

The KBA describes how to change the END Date in Succession Planning and Organization change in transaction HRTMC_PPOM.

In Succession Planning (transaction HRTMC_PPOM), the system issues the message 5A 496 ("No changes to data, periods undone") if you change only the validity, for example.
The change made is automatically reset. You cannot therefore easily delimit the data record.
For this, you must also make a change in the data part; for example, the "Rank" in addition to the "Validity" for the "Successor".

In Succession Planning (transaction HRTMC_PPOM), however, you want to be able to delimit data records without having to change the data part.
