2137088 - Error 7211 "Can't open a connection to site..." when executing a remote procedure call - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Component Integration Services (CIS) is correctly configured on the source server.
  • Remote server is added to the sysservers system table.
  • Interfaces file is correctly configured.
  • Following error message appears when executing a remote stored procedure on the remote server:

Msg 7211, Level 18, State 1:
Can't open a connection to site '%S_SRVID' because 'set up channel' message was not acknowledged.
