2137106 - Easy Form Editor Option is Disabled for Some Form Templates

You want to edit or view a form template using Easy Form Editor but the option is grayed out.

1. Navigate to Application and User Management work center.
2. Go to Business Flexibility View.
3. Select Form Template Maintenance sub view.
4. Select the form template that you want to change.
5. Click on the Button Open.
6. Easy Form Editor option is not Enabled.

There could be multiple reasons for this issue and listed down are some of them,

1. If there is no Write Access to the Form Template Maintenance for a specific User then the Easy Form Editor option will be disabled for that User
2. For some form templates, system would not allow to edit the form using Easy Form Editor due to the heavy customizations.
3. Changes are not desired for legal, tax related, finance related or other such topic related forms.
4. Changes using Easy Form Editor is restricted for Interactive Forms because of it's advanced features.
5. Easy Form Editor option is disabled for some of the Form Templates which belongs Pre-Localized countries

For such forms you should use the tool Adobe Life Cycle Designer if you want to change according to your requirements.
