Symptom

  • The repserver log shows messages repeating every 2 minutes:

RSI: Trying to connect to 'downstream_rs'.
ERROR #1027 RSI(downstream_rs) - seful/cm.c(6030)
Open Client Client-Library error: Error: 84083972, Severity 5 -- 'ct_connect(): network packet layer: internal net library error: Net-Lib protocol driver call to connect two endpoints failed', Operating System error 111 -- 'Socket connect failed - errno 111 Connection refused'.
ERROR #13045 RSI(downstream_rs) - seful/cm.c(6035)
Failed to connect to server 'downstream_rs' as user 'downstream_rs_rsi'. See CT-Lib and/or server error messages for more information.
Trying to connect to server 'downstream_rs' as user 'downstream_rs_rsi' ......
Still trying to connect to server 'downstream_rs' as user 'downstream_rs_rsi' ......

  • Replication Server "admin who" shows:
