How to rename a field in your query in "Detailed Reporting" or in "Audit Framework"

This is available for Advanced Reporting / ODS instances only. Live Data doesn't have this functionnality.

1 - In your Advance Reporting instance, When you click on "Detailed Reporting".

2 -Select fields in your query from "Detailed Reporting" .

(Note : This KBA doesn't apply for "Live Data" only "Detailed Reporting").

3 - You want to change the name displayed in your query (See screenshot below)  from “Employee Type (Label)” to “Employee Type”.

   

When you have created your query in Detailed Reporting, you can “EDIT” and change the name following the steps below :

 

1 -       Click on Edit.

 

 

 2 -       Select the “A” button for the desired field

 

 

Note: Field need to be selected to have the “A” button displayed.

 

 3 -       Enter the name desired and press “OK”.

 

4 -       The field is now renamed in your query and changes can be revert by clicking on “B” button.

 

In the example below, I have renamed the field from “Employee Class (Label)” into “Employee Class”.
