2140612 - sp_addgroup fails with Msg 233 on column user_status in sysusers - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Upgrading to ASE 15.7 SP130 or any SP13n release
  • When running sp_addgroup command, ASE returns message 233:
Msg 233, Level 16, State 2:
Server 'ASE', Procedure 'sp_addgroup', Line 266:
The column user_status in table sysusers does not allow null values.
