2140916 - Performance issues in RFC processing (Oracle)

Symptom

  • Performance issues occur during the processing of Remote Function Calls. The processing in transactions SMQ1, SMQ2 or SM58 is slow.
  • Either the server system or the client system of the RFC is running on Oracle DB. The workprocess overview (transaction SM50 or SM66) shows long-running accesses to RFC related DB tables (TRFCQIN, TRFCQOUT, ARFCSSTATE, ARFCSDATA, etc).
