2141254 - Shortcut to Analysis workbook is not visible from Analysis for Office

Symptom

Shortcut of Analysis for Office workbook created in BI platform is not visible in Analysis for Office.

Environment

SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for Microsoft Office

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a shortcut of the workbook in BI platform;
  2. Launch Analysis for Office;
  3. Go to File > Analysis > Open workbook from BIP.
  4. The shortcut created is not visible in the folders.

Resolution

This is an expected behavior. Analysis for Office will only show original Analysis workbooks available in BI platform.
