2142720 - Error ME110 in the BAPI_REQUISITION_RESET_RELEASE or BAPI_REQUISITION_RESET_REL_GEN

Symptom

When creating  a purchase order (PO) or a request for quotation (RFQ) with reference to a released purchase requisition (PR), the following is noted:

  • When using BAPI_REQUISITION_RESET_RELEASE or BAPI_REQUISITION_RESET_REL_GEN to reset the release strategy, the error ME110: "Order(s) already placed for this item (function not possible)" is displayed.
  • If transaction ME54N is used the error is not displayed.
