2143551 - Web Intelligence: Error "A row with the same key already exists" occurs when retrieving BEx query objects via BICS connection

Symptom

  • A Web Intelligence (WebI) document uses BI Consumer Services (BICS) o connect to a Business Explorer (BEx) query
  • In the WebI query panel, when the BEx query objects are being retrieved for selection, an error occurs:

    "Invalid program status: RFC call BICS_PROV_SET_STATE returned an exception: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: A row with the same key already exists ITAB_DUPLICATE_KEY"

  • Similar errors may be seen:

    "RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: There is already a line with the same key."
