2143676 - How to configure connection timeouts in SMP 3.0 SP04 - SMP

Symptom

  • When using hybrid apps with offline capabilities(new OData based approach), the requests, which the SAP Mobile Platform (SMP) 3.0 server is proxying, is taking more time then one minute to answered in the backend system (SAP Gateway).
If that is the case, the SMP server drops the request and an error is logged(see attached log).
  • There exists a property "Socket connection timeout" in the Management Cockpit under"Settings",
but the allowed max value there is 65365 ms.
  • Is it possible to configure a higher timeout then 65365 ms?
