2144722 - Create view "with check option" clause is not stored in syscomments after an upgrade - ASE

Symptom

  • Views are created including a "with check option" clause
  • The check option clause is not included in the source code text for the view stored in syscomments.
  • Upgrade the ASE Server
  • During the upgrade, the views are rebuilt using this source code which causes the check option behavior to be lost
  • The views are no longer stored in syscomments
