2145772 - Mobile Server doesn't start after upgrading to 3.0 SP06

Symptom

  • After an upgrade from SAP Mobile Platform (SMP) 3.0 SP3 to SP06 the server didn't start properly with error:
    "Bundles (and their services) not yet initialized: com.sap.mobile.platform.server.admin.jaxrs.offlineconfig <-- Issue|".
  • When clicking on the application tab in the SMP Admin console the following error occurs:
    "An unexpected error has occurred in the server. Please check server logs for more information.
    "ERROR#org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.[Catalina].[localhost].[/]
    .[osgiDispatcherServlet]##anonymous#http-bio-41083-exec-9###Servlet.service() for servlet [osgiDispatcherServlet] in
    context with path [] threw exception [Handler processing failed;nested exception is java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError
    :org/eclipse/persistence/internal/jpa/EntityManagerImpl] with root cause java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:org/eclipse/persistence/internal/jpa/EntityManagerImpl
