2146051 - What is expected behavior for screening questions when candidate resubmits withdrawn application? - Recruiting

Symptom

As of B1305 release when a candidate withdraws then re-submits their application they are no longer put directly into the default bucket.

Question

What is expected behavior for screening questions when candidate resubmits withdrawn application?

Environment

  • Recruiting

Resolution

Single- stage application:

Candidate can re-submit and place the candidate in New Application, and re-trigger the pre-screen question evaluation and re-disqualify the candidate if their answers are bad

Old behavior:
Candidate withdraws, re-submits and is placed in the Default status regardless of their pre-screening responses.

New behavior:
Candidate withdraws, re-submits and is placed in the Default status, their pre-screening responses are automatically re-evaluated and if they fail they are automatically placed back in the auto-disqualify status.

Multi-Stage Application:

- Multi-stage application without disqualification questions :

Candidate can re-submit but rather than placing them in the New Application status instead open and re-present them with their application fields permissioned in New Application status, require them to save in order to re-submit, and then place them in New Application Status

- Multi-stage application with disqualification questions :

Candidate can re-submit but rather than placing them in the New Application status instead open and re-present them with their application fields permissioned in New Application status, require them to save in order to re-submit, and THEN re-trigger the pre-screen question evaluation and re-disqualify the candidate if their answers are bad.
