Symptom
When attempting to create a Goal Management Ad Hoc report, the headings for the report do not correspond to the headings in the goal plan.
If this is for a custom goal, please see KB Article 2456115 - Report on Custom Fields in an Objective/Goal Plan - Goal Management
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment
SAP Successfactors Goal Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Goal Plan A has a metric field labeled Measure
- Goal Plan B has a metric field labeled Measurement
- Generate an Ad Hoc report and notice the metric field label shows as Measure instead of Measurement
Cause
This is expected system behaviour. The Goal Management Ad Hoc report pulls labels from the top-most Goal Plan under Manage Templates.
Resolution
- Action Search: Manage Templates
- Goal Template tab > Under the Sort Order column, look for the Goal Plan containing the labels you want and select the up arrow to move it to the top of the list
