2146143 - Recovery is terminated during ONLINE DATABASE command - SAP ASE for Business Suite

Symptom

  • After an ONLINE DATABASE command, a recovery session is terminated.
  • Message below appears:

Upgrade has finished in database 'DBname'. ASE is now updating table level statistics for its system tables. Please be patient.

  • ONLINE DATABASE fails.
  • There is also a stack trace in the database log that shows the following modules:

proc_read__backout()
proc_handle()
exc__raise()
exc_raise()
proc_read()
proc_get()
