2146630 - Variable Pay reports: Bonus payout details report does not show any data or only shows headers

When one executes the "Bonus Payout Details Report" it comes out blank or sometimes the headers show up with no data even though you can see data in the forms.

SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay

1. Go to Admin Center > Compensation > Compensation Home
2. Select your Variable Pay Program
3. Click on Plan Setup > Reports > Other Reports
4. Select Bonus Payout Report
5. Run the report
6. Go to Reporting > Report Center > Switch to Classic View > Scheduled Reports
7. Download your report -- it will be blank or only have headers.

This is typically a permission issue in role base permission.

In order to fix this issue one needs to ensure that the user encountering the issue has role base permissions as follows:

1. Go to Admin Center > Set User Permissions > Manage Permission Roles
2. Open the permission role that gives user Variable Pay permissions
3. Click on Permission...
4. Go to Administrator Permissions > Manage Variable Pay
5. Check Manage Employee Data for Employees
   
   
6. Click Done
7. Scroll down to Grant this role to...
8. Click on Edit Granting for the affected user's permission group
9. Ensure that the displayed target population includes the employees you want included in the report
   NOTE: if you want all employees to be part of this report, then the target population should be Everyone
10. Click Done, then save the permission role
11. Restart, and try to run a new report
