2146704 - UMT Error "null Statement too complex. Try rewriting the query to remove complexity"

Symptom

  • While trying to migrate BI content from 3.1 system to a 4.x system, UMT fails with the following error:
    null Statement too complex. Try rewriting the query to remove complexity. Eliminating many duplicate expressions or breaking up the query
    and storing interim results in a temporary table can often help resolve this error
  • The issue occurs when trying to move either complete content or when doing incremental migration when the content involves moving 3rd Party usergroups such as Active Directory ( AD ) or LDAP authentication.
