You are not able to edit the price in shopping cart XYZ.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Home work center.
- Choose Self-Services Overview view.
- Select Go Shopping.
Cause
Price is not editable in Go Shopping option of Self-Services Overview of Home work center. However price is editable in Go Shopping (Advanced) of Self-Services Overview of Home work center.
Resolution
This is the standard system behavior and system behaves as designed.

If you have created catalog for non-stock materials and services you ordered in shopping cart, price will be pulled from published catalog. Kindly note that this price feild will be non-editable as the catalogs are usually provided by external suppliers or set by purchasing department in case of custom catalogs with prior negotiation.
