Symptom

  • You are using SAP Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM) for a system copy.
  • Following error message is reported:

Assertion failed: Unable to configure automatic database expansion

  • The following error message is reported in the sapinst_dev.log :

syb_isql_pipe: trace: Auto-expansion threshold procedure for database '<SID>', segment 'default' already exists at a free space of 65536 pages ('1024M'). Use the CLEAR sub-command to clear it first. Or, use the sp_dropthreshold procedure to drop the existing threshold procedure.
