2147474 - Invalid LDAP user or password although user is authenticated - SAP PD

Symptom

  • Authenticated user tries to connect to the repository and receives PowerDesigner error: "Invalid LDAP user or password!"
  • If the login name is in uppercase, the error is: "The LDAP server 'LDAP://host:port' connection failed with the following error: Échec d'ouverture de session : nom d'utilisateur inconnu ou mot de passe incorrect."
  • Translated error message: "Logon failure: The login name is unknown or the password is invalid".
