2147510 - Error: "Please change the domain in From e-mail address. XYZ is not allowed." While Activating E-mail Template

While activating e-mail template or while sending test e-mail, system throws error stating domain is not allowed.

 SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Marketing work center.
2. Choose Content View.
3. Choose the Email Template to activate.
4. Go to Actions.
5. Choose Activate Or Choose Send Test E-mail.

Error appears: Please change the domain in From e-mail address. XYZ is not allowed. (Where XYZ refers to the e-mail domain).

Note: The domain (XYZ) referred above is already maintained under Business Configuration -> E-mail and Fax Settings -> E-mail and Fax Settings.

An error occurs when activating the E-mail Template because the Business Configuration does not have a sub-domain maintained for Mass E-mail Activation.

Read through the documentation before you add sub-domains that you will use in your E-mail Blast and configure the sub-domain using below path.

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to Implementation Projects view.
3. Choose Open Activity List button.
4. Go to Fine-Tune phase.
5. Search and open the activity E-Mail and Fax Settings.
6. Choose Activation of Mass E-Mail.
7. Choose Add to add the sub-domain.
8. Save and Close.
