2147794 - "Operating system call connect failed" errors in System Log after removing a server from landscape

After deleting the application server in LMDB inside Solman, there are errors on the monitored satellite system (in dev_rd and sm21).
It seems the Solman still wants to establish an gateway connection to the deleted application server.

Following errors appear in SM21:

Operating system call connect failed (error no. 110 )

Operating system call connect failed (error no. 111 )

Operating system call connect failed (error no. 113 )

Also, the gateway trace file shows error similar ot this:
