2147935 - How to analyze import issues on SAPVIEW package

Symptom

During the import process, the Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM) tool fails during the import of SAPVIEW package.

Usually, import issues on SAPVIEW package happen mainly due to two possible causes:

  1. Invalid object: During the view creation, it tries to use a table that was not created during the import;
  2. Invalid column: SQL view creation statement has a field that does not exist on the table.
