You are missing Edit Time Sheet option in Home work center

SAP Business Bydesign

1. Go to Home work center.
2. Enter the Self Services Overview view.

Here you can see that under the Time section, there is no link for Edit Time Sheet.

There could be 2 main causes for this behavior:

1. During project scoping you did not select the option "Do you want your employees to record their working times using an employee self-service time sheet?", therefore none of the users are able to see Edit Time Sheet in Home work center.
2. There is a UI switch on the business role level disabling this option.

To check on the Business Configuration option:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Enter the view Implementation Projects.
3. Select your implementation project and click Edit Project Scope (alternatively, click on View Active Scope in case there are no projects open).
4. Navigate to step 4 - Questions.
5. Click on Show and then on All Elements.
6. Expand the element Human Resources.
7. Click on the element Time Recording.
8. On the right panel, under question group Time Recording Self-services, mark the checkbox for the question "Do you want your employees to record their working times using an employee self-service time sheet?".
9. Proceed in the wizard until you confirm your project scope.

After logging out and entering the system again, the link should be visible to the users.

If your project is already live, you also need to merge the changes done via activity Merge Scoping and Fine-Tuning Changes with Production.

To check the UI Switch in the business role:

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Enter the Business Roles view.
3. Select the business role assigned to the user and click on Edit.
4. Navigate to the UI Switches tab.

Here you would see an entry with identifier as SS_EDITTIMESHEET_DISABLE and description as "Removes the Edit Time Sheet link from Self-Services Overview".
