2149220 - Forward to Colleague: Issues finding Users - Recruiting

Sometimes I'm not able to find a recruiter when using the "forward to colleague" feature. Why?

The pop up “Forward to Colleague” will appear when clicking the “Forward to Colleague” button from an application. The forward to field will use the auto-completion feature to find the user to forward to. Sometimes this is not finding any one.

• There are two main reasons why this is not happening.
  • The first reason is that the candidate may have the privacy option set to “Only recruiters managing jobs I applied to” or “Any company recruiter in my country of residence”. If the user that is forwarded to is not fulfilling these condition, the user will not found
  • The second reason is only when “Any company recruiter in my country of residence” is selected as privacy option by the candidate. In this case if the user “forward to” cannot be found the reason is in the location standard field of the user. The location standard field (defined in the data model also known as succession data model) must contain a text that must match with the value in the country field of the candidate. If not, the user will not be found. This acts as a kind of pre-filter.
