2149830 - Learning: validation error "The User is terminated !" occurs when logging into Learning User application

When the user tries to navigate to the Learning Home Page, the following error is generated:

Validation error

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

The User is terminated!

The system does not allow to proxy session for this user.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Access the system >
2. Try navigating to learning >
3. The error appears:
   "Validation Error 
   Please correct the following errors before proceeding:
   The User is terminated !".

When analyzing this user profile in LMS Admin side, you can notice that this user's profile is Active.

1. Try to Launch Proxy link >
2. The proxy session of this user failed to be started >
3. After closing the window and clicking "End Proxy Session" button, the original admin session will also end and redirect the admin to logon page of Admin application.

The Terminated field of this user is already in the past.

As the user is already terminated from the system, it is behaving as such.

This is how to check the user's termination date:

1. Access the LMS as Admin >
2. Find the user's profile >
3. Tab "User Details" >
4. Check the field "termination date".

If this date is populated and in the past, the user is terminated.

If the business still needs the user to be active, an admin should remove the termination date. For this, please note the KBA 2253797 - Termination Date via Import Tool or via User Connector - SF.

Note: If "Termination Date" field is not in the user's profile, please do the following:

1. Navigate to go to System Administration >
2. Configuration >
3. Entity Configuration >
4. Select User entity >
5. Find the field and flag the option "Display" >
6. Click Save button.

Now the field should be displayed in the user's profile, under tab "User Details".
