Symptom
- The Age calculation in the Job Requisiton Summary page will not show any value even the Job requisition has been opened for some time
- Job requisitions have been created, approved and posted. The “Age (Days)” column is not calculating any data.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Create a Job Requisition
- Approved it and post it
- The “Age (Days)” column is not calculating any data in the Job Requistion Summary Page
Cause
Cause 1:
The provisioning job "Calculate Job Requisition Age" is not triggered/running.
Cause 2:
The value of the Open status in the picklist associated to the status field in the Job Requisition Template is set to 88888.
Resolution
Solution for Cause 1:
To trigger the job, we have to do following the steps:
- Go to Admin Tool and click "Manage Recruiting Settings" link.
- Change the"start date" under "Age of Requisition" to some other date field and save it.
- Then change the "Age of Requisition" to Approved date and save it.
Note: The user enabling the setting will become the Job Creator and Job Executor for the job. It is recommended to use an admin user to save the setting so that the Job Executor will never become invalid. For details, please refer to KBA 3376412 - How to change the Job Executor of system generated jobs in Provisioning.
Solution for Cause 2:
Change the value of the open status from 88888 to -1.
- Go to Admin Center -> Recruiting -> Picklists Management
- Select Export all picklist(s) then download the export.
- Open the exported picklist and search for the picklist ID reqStatus.
- Check the value of the Open status, if it is 88888 or 99999 change it to -1.
- Save the picklist, go back into picklist management and re-upload the picklist.
When the job in provisioning runs again the age should calculate correctly. To trigger the job manually, follow the steps of Solution for Cause 1.
