Symptom

  • Android devices are being provisioned with X.509 Client Certificates to be used for SAP Mobile Platform (SMP) Custom Application
  • The error "MMS Authentication Failed: Login Failed: user '<username>@<domain>'" is seen in the SMP server log. <username> and <domain> respectively denote the username in the subject of the X.509 certificate and the SMP domain in which the application is deployed to
