The Reopen button is available for the canceled service confirmation item, which are of type as Service-Time and Material.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Service Order work center.
  2. From the Common Task select New Service Order.
  3. In the New Service Order screen click on View ALL button and enter all mandatory details in the General tab and go to Services and Spare Parts tab.
  4. Click on the Add Row button and enter Product ABC (where ABC is product ID of type Service - time and material) and Save the Service Order.
  5. The Service Order PQR (where PQR is service order ID) is created.
  6. Click on the action Submit-> Release to Service Execution.
  7. Go to the Field Service and Repairs work center.
  8. Go to the Order Pipeline view and select ALL Orders to be Executed from drop-down option and search with service order ID PQR.
  9. Select Service Order PQR and click on Confirm Execution button.
  10. In the New Service Confirmation screen ,click on the button Save and then Release the Service Confirmation LMN(where LMN is Service Confirmation ID).
  11. Edit Service Confirmation LMN and go to Services and Spare Parts tab and maintain the Reason for Rejection for item ABC and Save it.
  12. Now go to Service Order PQR and under the Services and Spare Parts tab for item ABC the Delivery Status should have revoke to In Process, but it is still showing as Finished.


As per system behavior this have set back delivery status of ABC as In Process. But if this is not revoke, we have provided a button Reopen which will be enabled in case of items whose all service confirmations are canceled and the item is not been revoked (only for Service- Time and Material item type).

So this button will revoke the delivery and the quantities after which you can cancel an item .


  1. Go to the Service Order work center.
  2. Go to Service Order Processing view and search with service order PQR.
  3. Click on the Edit button and go to Services and Spare Parts tab and select the product ABC.
  4. You can see their is Reopen button ,which is editable .

Select Reopen to set the delivery status of ABC as In Process.
