Symptom

Item Groups XACT and XFIS are missing in Sales tab of a Service.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Product Data work center.
  2. Select Services view.
  3. Search and Edit (View All) the Service.
  4. Go to Sales tab.
  5. Drop down for Item Group, where the above values are missing

Cause

Below questions should be scoped in order to have the required Item Groups:

Do you intend to invoice expenses based on receipts, that result from selling services, directly from the sales order using a fixed price?

Do you intend to invoice expenses based on receipts that result from sales or services, taking actual costs from the service confirmation?

Resolution

The system is working as designed
