How to set correct permissions to view users on the Performance-Potential matrix and Talent Search?

FOR customers who are not on Role-Based-Permissions:

Go to Admin tools > Succession Management and Matrix Report permissions (Succession Management Visibility permissions in new admin tools)

1. To view only direct reports: Select “My Team” (Behavior: Inclusive)
2. 3. To view both direct reports and matrix reports/custom reports: Select “My matrix reports” and “My Custom Reports” (Behavior: Inclusive)
3. To view your own self: Select “Include Self”.  (Behavior: Inclusive)
4. IMPORTANT: To view HR reports, select only HR reports. (Behavior: Exclusive)

NOTE: If both “My Team” and “My HR reports” are selected, the person you are giving permissions for can view only those users who are both that person’s direct reports “AND” HR reports.

Likewise, if all the options are selected in the last two columns -> The person can view only those users who he/she is a manager and matrix manager and custom manager and HR manager of (which is not the ideal case).

ADMIN RIGHTS: To give the correct permissions for a user to see everyone in the company when he runs a 9-box report, please make sure NONE of the options are selected in the last columns.

For customers who are on Role-Based-Permissions

1. Make sure Succession Management and Matrix report Permissions are selected and the target population is set to include the people you want to see in the report.
