2153382 - Employee Signature not Captured in PDF Form & Form not Appearing in Employee Signature Step - Onboarding


  • An employee signature is not captured in a form
  • The form is not appearing in the Employee signature step
  • Once the signature step is completed, the form is filled with data but the employee signature is missing

Reproducing the Issue

  1. An employee logs into the Onboarding system
  2. Then completes the New Employee step & electronically signs all the forms
  3. The Submit all Documents button is selected
  4. Log in to check the employee form by clicking on the Document Center tab
  5. Search for the employee's form
  6. Notice the employee form does not have an employee signature



  • This issue is caused by the misconfiguration of the PDF forms
  • In Settings > PDF Forms > The EmployeeSignature field is not configured correctly to show who needs to sign this field in PDF



  1. Log in as an Admin User
  2. Within Onboarding, click on the Settings tab
  3. Click the PDF Forms sub-tab
  4. Select the PDF form
  5. For the EmployeeSignature field, specify the Employee to sign this field as shown below
  6. Select the value for the Sign field and click update
