2153424 - CAST function can not convert value to a timestamp in dbisql - SAP IQ

Symptom

  • When running query that uses CAST to convert a string to a timestamp using dbisql, the following error occurs:

    >select CAST ('03/26/2015' AS datetime) AS Timestamp from dummy

    Cannot convert '03/26/2015' to a timestamp
        SQLCODE=-157, ODBC 3 State="07006"
  • The query works properly in isql.
