Symptom

The option Auto Generate ID is shown in Add New window for entities (e.g. Item, Manage Equipment, Instructor, User)
How to remove and disable this option to force administrators to enter entity ID manually?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to Learning Administration
  2. Learning Activities > Items > Add New
  3. See Auto Generate ID option

Resolution

  1. System Administration > Configuration > Auto generated IDs
  2. Uncheck the entity to remove this option
  3. Apply Changes

Note: Required workflow/permission ID: System Administration > Auto generated IDs
