2154021 - No memory for Network Buffers bucket pool growth -- Server will not boot. - ASE

Symptom

  • Server will not start after a reboot
  • os_create_keyfile message reported in the ASE error log

Allocating a shared memory segment of size 268435456 bytes.
os_create_keyfile: Removed old segment /sybasefs/sybase/ASE-15_0/DELT

  • Not able to allocate network memory pool

ks_falloc: Cannot allocate using ubfalloc(rnetmempool, 32).

  • Infected with 11 is reported in the ASE error log

Current process (0x0) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
