2154467 - Run Day Closure error: Offsetting account not valid

When trying to execute correction run for some employees in Time Administration, system gives an error message that prevents to save it.

1. Go to work center Time Administration
2. Go to view Regular Tasks
3. Select Run Day Closure
4. Choose the employee and set the period closure date
5. Click save
6. System raises error message Offsetting account XYZ not valid on XX.YY.ZZ (where XYZ represents a time account, and XX.YY.ZZ represents a date)

Employee has a time account maintained, which has a period end rule that transfers the remaining balance to Target Account Type XYZ. As this employee does not have this target time account maintained for his time profile, system is not able to post the remaining balance hours to this account.

The period end rule of the time account was changed (directly in the employees time profile, or in the business configuration activity Time Accounts) after the time account was assigned to the employees. Before the target account was changed, the error message was not thrown.

In order to maintain target account XYZ on employee time file, please follow steps below:

1. Go to Time Administration
2. Select view Employees
3. Select the employee and click on edit
4. Go to tab Time Account Balances
5. Add a new row for Time Accounts with the missing target account XYZ

Note:

• Alternatively you might adapt the period end rule of the source account, so that XYZ is not maintained as target account anymore.
• The target account XYZ and the source account can be different types time accounts. Check all time accounts that might be used to post to XYZ. 
• Afterwards a day closure run for the affected employee might be required. The start date must be before the date XX.YY.ZZ.
