2155736 - Errors when connecting to ESP project running on a remote server - SAP ESP

Symptom

  • When trying to connect from ESP Studio on one server, to an ESP project running on a remote server, the ESP Studio's console reports this error:

Failed call to:  https://<server-name>:38579/RPC2 (Failed to read server's response: <server-name>) 

  • When trying to run a command such as streamingsubscribe from the command line on one server to an ESP project running on a remote server, the command responds with this error:

Couldn't connect to server, XML-RPC Fault(libcurl failed to execute the HTTP POST transaction.  Could not resolve host: <server-name>; No data record of requested type)

  • When trying to connect to a project using the ESP Java SDK's connect() method, it fails with this error:
