2156919 - Receive various errors possibly only affecting some reports or connections when using SSO (specifically STS) to connect to SAP BW

• Receive the following error inn webi when connecting to BEX connection in BI launchpad. Connection is set for SSO, and user is forced to use STS via KBA 1767629 

full error is

• To note IDT will not allow lower case system ID, but if you attempt to test one that was created in the CMC then you may see the following error
• com.businessobjects.mds.olap.OlapException: Could not find a username alias for SystemId:lower case system ID see below

Reproduced on multiple patches of SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.1 but could occur in all BI 4.0 $.1, and 4.x systems as it appears to be an STS standard.
