Functionality:

This functionality enables recruiting users to view application comments for each job requisition in the Jobs Applied Portlet. Once enabled, every user that is properly permissioned will be able to see the comments for every job application within the portlet.

Configuration within the customer system:

To enable this functionality in the front end system, please follow the below steps:

1. Admin Center;
2. Manage Recruiting Settings;
3. Check the option "Enable Comment Visibility on the Jobs Applied Portlet"

Configuration within the customer backend system:

Two different settings must be configured in the system backend. One in the Application Template XML (which can be performed using Manage Templates, if needed) and the other in the actual system backend (Provisioning). This last step requires implementation partner team engagement.

Application Template XML:

'external-view' is configured in application template and should only be used for field refid="comments". This is used to provide appropriately permissioned users visibility to the comments when reviewing the application from the Jobs Applied portlet. Only the roles mentioned in the permission block (in this case "R", "G" and "GM") will be able to see the comments after the entire configuration is completed.

Provisioning configuration:

1. Access the client Provioning system;
2. Company Settings
3. Recruiting
4. Check "Enable Comment Visibility on the Jobs Applied Portlet"
