2157630 - How to Enable and Configure Manage Templates in SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Users need guidance on enabling the Manage Templates tool in Recruiting Management (RCM) to perform configuration-related actions and minor template modifications without editing XML-based templates directly. 

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1.  Attempt to access the Manage Templates tool in Recruiting Management without enabling the feature.
2. Observe that the tool is not visible or accessible under Admin Tools. 

The Manage Templates tool is not enabled in Provisioning or Upgrade Center, and permissions are not granted in Role-Based Permissions (RBP).

First a user needs to enable Manage Templates for RCM in Provisioning, or enabled it via Upgrade Center.

• Provisioning Settings:

1. Login to Provisioning
2. Navigate to Company Settings
3. Check the option "Manage Templates for RCM" under option Manage Templates → Click Save

Note: Please contact your partner for this part, or raise a ticket with SAP Support for enabling it from back end.

Then provide the proper permissions to the user:

• How to grant permission in RBP instance:

After enabling it from provisioning, grant permission to make it visible under Admin Tools in the Instance

Note: this can be done by Customer.

1. Navigate to Admin Center ->Manage Permission Roles.
2. Go to the role you want to provide the access to → Permission
3. Go to Manage Recruiting -> Check the option "Manage Recruiting Templates"
4. Click on Done
   
   
5. Login and Logout for changes to reflect

Note: The RBP Manage Recruiting Templates will only become available to select, once users have enabled the setting "Manage Templates for RCM" in Provisioning.
