Symptom

  • A bcp out command using large value for -T option fails with:

bcp64 tempdb..a out a.bcp -Usa -PSybase123 -Sase63 -c -T2147483135

Starting copy...
Fatal error: memory allocation failed.
bcp copy out failed

  • bcp out succeeds when using smaller size in -T option:

bcp64 tempdb..a out a.bcp -Usa -PSybase123 -Sase63 -c -T2147483134
