2160354 - Adapter type version not changed after PI upgrade

You have successfully completed an upgrade of Process Integration (PI) or Process Orchestration (PO) from any release version to a newer release version. After the upgrade you notice that the Adapter Type parameter in Communication Channels remains at the pre-upgrade version. For example, you upgrade from PI 7.00 to PI 7.30, the SAP BASIS 7.00 version remains in all Communication Channels as below:

Perhaps you expect this to be automatically changed to the upgraded system version release as shown below:
