The workflow group “WF_Test” has the member Jason Hendricks.



The workflow “WF_TERMINATION_TEST” has approver type Dynamic Group and Approver Role is “WF_Test”.



The workflow is triggered for Jason.



As a member of the Approver Dynamic Group “WF_Test”, Jason did not get the notification.

Currently the standard system behavior is that when a user for whom a workflow is initiated is a member of the approver Dynamic Group, he/she will not receive the workflow notifications.

In such a scenario, the user will not receive the workflow notification for approval; instead the user’s Manager will receive the notification.

Jason's Manager is Stephen Chan.

Stephen got the notification instead. This is a standard expected behavior because the user was a part of the Approver Dynamic Group.
