2162679 - Fields missing from People Pool's Category for Statement Assignment Groups - Compensation & Variable Pay

When assigning a new statements template to a Compensation or Variable Pay template it is possible to assign employees to this statement template based on different categories such as country, department, location, Job Code, etc. In some cases the categories displayed in the drop down menu do not match the customer’s requirements and this screen can be customized to include a wider list of categories.

1. Go to Action for All Plans > Group Assignments
2. Manage Compensation Groups > Manage Statement Assignment Groups
3. Create New Group > Check Pick Category dropdown under People Pool
4. Some fields are missing

 Category not configured in the Data Model.

Permission needs to be given for the fields in Manage Business Configuration or in the Data Model. 

1. Go to Manage Business Configuration
2. Employee Profile
3. Standard
4. Open the field
5. Take Action -> Add Element Permission
   

Important:

Only standard elements in the system can be used as categories. Employee Central fields are not maintained. And also not all standard fields will be available, if the permission is added but field is not showing as category, then field is not supported.
