2162880 - How "Team View" functionality work in Reporting

• Report is blank when using Team View and Starting from a Manager
• No data in Table Report / Canvas/ORD - Detailed Reporting / Dashboard running on Team View Filter
• Not able to generate report on Particular Manager's Team.

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

1. Set the People Scope of your report to "Team View"
2. Find a Manager name under "Team Manager"
3. Run report to get the data of the selected Manager's Team
4. No Data coming up in the report.

• When user belongs to the org (Belongs to hierarchy) than starting from user will apply team hierarchy of logged in user and will restrict data depending on user hierarchy.
• If user is outside the org (does not belong to any hierarchy) than  starting from user will populate data depending on target population defined for logged in user.

Scenario 1:  Logged in user belongs to the org (Belongs to hierarchy) and running report starting from user above his/her hierarchy (same hierarchy).
Logged in User:  F
Team View: Team View of B till All level(s)
Result: Data will never pull up.

Scenario 2:  Logged in user belongs to the org (Belongs to hierarchy) and running report starting from user below his/her hierarchy.
Logged in User: F
Team View: Team View of K till All level(s)
Result: Data will come depending on the Reporting permission granted to F and target population.

 Scenario 3:  Logged in user belongs to the org (Belongs to hierarchy) and running report starting from user of different hierarchy.
Logged in User: F
Team View: Team View of D till All level(s)
Result: Data will never pull up.

Scenario 4:  Logged in user is outside the org (does not belong to any hierarchy)
Logged in User: SFAdmin
Team View: Team View of D till All level(s)
Result: Data will come depending on the Reporting permission granted to SFAdmin and target population.

It is an expected behaviour as per the design.

Note : Permission to view data for Users beyond the direct reports can be given, for example to HR Manager, via the Detail Report option as described in the KBA 2427726 - Dashboard or Report with "Team View" selection does not return results
