2163255 - Disable Org Chart

How to Disable Org functionality from the instance.

• SAP Successfactors Employee Profile
• SAP SuccessFactors Succession Management
• SAP SuccessFactors Platform

Currently, there are two options available for disabling Org Chart, in SuccessFactors.

The first one is to remove the permissions to Succession Org Chart and/or Company Org Chart, and the second is to disable the feature itself in the back-end.

In order to remove permissions to Succession Org Chart, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Admin Center and search for "Manage Permission Roles";
2. Choose a role to grant permissions to and click on "Permissions";
3. Go to "Succession Planners";
4. And disable the "Succession Org Chart Permission".
   
   

In order to remove permissions to Company Org Chart, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Admin Center and search for "Manage Permission Roles";
2. Choose a role to grant permissions to and click on "Permissions";
3. Go to "General User Permission";
4. And disable the "Organization Chart Navigation Permission".
   
   

In order to disable the Org Chart feature, which will disable all the org charts from the instance: Company Org Chart and Succession Org Chart, please follow the steps below:

Please note: the steps below can only be performed by Implementation Partners with Provisioning access and Product Support.

1. Login to Provisioning;
2. Search for "Ultra Organization Chart [requires Version 10 UI or Version 11 UI framework(ULTRA)]" and disable this feature;
   
   
   
   
3. Then, save the company settings.
