2163412 - ADONET: Bad TDS response when calling procedure involving RPC call, when local procedure returns results and remote returns results: Bad TDS response stream received from server. Unexpected token type received - SDK for SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Procedure returns multiple results, one from local proc and another from rpc.
  • With ASE setting 'cis rpc handling' = 1, first result is TDS_ROWFMT2, second as TDS_ROWFMT.
  • Error:
    • AseException: Sybase.Data.AseClient.AseException:
    • Bad TDS response stream received from server. Unexpected token type received: 141.
