2164631 - SUM Error: Manifest of the file [*.SCA] does not contain component with name - DEFINE-TARGET-SOURCE

During the support package stack update or upgrade in Solution manager system or Netweaver system the below issue occurs in DEFINE-TARGET-SOURCE phase while trying to construct the support pack stack using the provided stack.xml.

Here below log and SCA is taken as an example, but it can be for any SCA files

An error has occurred during the execution of the Define Target step with action define_target. Service com.sap.sdt.j2ee.services.servicesimpl.DefineTargetService failed with the following message:
Cannot construct a support package stack from file ..\..\\stack.xml.
